About the Role
ThePEDI.org is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our online presence and build an engaged digital community. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing The PEDI’s social media platforms, creating content that reflects our mission of advancing product design and innovation, and fostering meaningful interactions with our global audience.
As Social Media Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how The PEDI connects with designers, innovators, and enthusiasts worldwide. From crafting compelling posts to analyzing metrics, your work will directly contribute to raising awareness, driving engagement, and building a strong brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with The PEDI’s goals.
Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across all platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, publications, and initiatives through social media campaigns.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement.
Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to inform future strategies.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep The PEDI’s presence fresh and relevant.
Manage paid social media campaigns to expand reach and impact.
Develop partnerships with influencers and collaborators in the design and innovation space.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Proven ability to grow and engage audiences on multiple platforms.
Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social) and reporting on performance.
Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for The PEDI’s mission and understanding of the design and innovation community.
