About the Role
ThePEDI.org is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support and streamline the internal processes that drive our mission of advancing excellence in product design and innovation. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, managing administrative systems, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
As Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in the backbone of The PEDI’s work. You’ll manage essential functions such as systems administration, vendor coordination, project tracking, and process optimization, helping the organization operate at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize internal processes to improve organizational efficiency.
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and system updates.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Support program teams with logistics and resource planning for events, projects, and initiatives.
Maintain and organize digital files, records, and databases.
Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting.
Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Provide operational support for cross-departmental initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in operations, administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
